up close

so this is that shoe i always wear, the tan and red bronx sandal from la de da. i bought them in college, but after wearing them for a year they got caught in a closing door in a really weird and clumsy way only i could manage and the strap separated from the buckle. so they sat at home all sad and broken under my childhood bed until i recently dug them out and had them fixed. voila! favorite summer shoes.

pretty damn girlie.

dress- h & m
two-tone spectators- madden girl

i bought this dress to go to a wedding and i love it, except it has that weird h&m cut that manages to make a simple floral dress a wee bit revealing. ah well, i'm trying to make piece with my cleavage and stop wishing i was a waif.

sample of fabric below:

perfect.

and here we have the best collection of sunday items a girl could ask for. charlie made fun of me for being too fancy to eat crabs out in a delaware swamp restaurants called the boondocks, but i maintain nothing is better than whacking crustaceans in an electric blue sack sundress and a straw hat. i even managed to leave with my bra, which is more than i can say for the lady two tables over, as they have a collection of discarded unmentionables hanging from the pipes in the elvis and gone with the wind bedecked bathrooms.i had fried tomatoes to start and from the all-you-can-eat number twos buffet i ate about 9, (second place!!!!) beating sarah who manages to even eat crabs in a tidy and methodical way. in her defense she was slowed down by that cattail and mason jar creation in the middle, an acid green drink called a swampwater that even the waitress couldn't fully explain. some of the ingredients? vodka, sprite, triple sec and coke. to top it all off? chocolate peanut butter pie. heaven.

Space Cases

So besides getting even more stoked everytime I see the Scott Pilgrim vs The World Trailer. I always think that Ramona Flowers looks like Catalin on Space Cases in the early 1990s on Nickelodian. Jewel Staite went on to be in another space sieres Firefly. While in Scott Pilgrim vs The World, Mary Elizabeth Winstead's character Ramona Flowers has seven evil exes, you might (or probably not) remember when she played the evil viliness in Disney's Sky High.
When you watch the trailer don't forget to see favorite Philly native Aubrey Plaza, hahaha.v
