i like to call sarah and explain to her why i look like a crazy person on any given day. today i had on a high waisted black skirt, grey over the knee socks and brown moccasins with the shirt above, affectionately nicknamed "the mom." A dollar never bought so much happiness. There are brick fire pits and picnic tables with bottles of ketchup and even a fly with that little loopy dotted line behind it to indicate it is being rendered in mid-flight.
Let's start thinking about our mothers. let's not wait until may. what was your favorite of your mother's shirts? have you come to identify it as a mom shirt, when really it was just a shirt before you were her kid? or does a mom shirt really only become so when it matures into a blouse?
